Big Little Lies actress Zoë Kravitz has been hiding a rather big little secret: she’s engaged to boyfriend of two years Karl Glusman, and has been since February!
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine for her November cover story, the reporter commented on her diamond sparkler to which Kravitz confirmed with some of that characteristic nonchalance, “Oh yeah, I’m engaged”.
Zoë went on to describe the incredibly sweet living room proposal that happened 8 months ago, “I was in sweatpants, I could feel his heart beating so fast — I was like, ‘Baby, are you OK?’ I was actually worried about him!”
Glusman’s original proposal plans were a far cry from their living room, with his initial chosen destination to pop the question being Paris, but due to a mix up of schedules the actor, 30, decided to propose at the couple’s home instead.
Luckily Glusman’s Paris plans fell through because the notoriously chill actress apparently loved the proposal saying, “He nailed it. And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.”
The ring has a stunning round, bezel-set centre stone accented by smaller round diamonds, which makes it all the more surprising we missed it, considering Zoë even wore it on the red carpet of the Met Gala in May.
