Yes, the show has now been renewed for season 4 and 5 after a stellar first three seasons saw it fly to the top of Netflix’s charts.
The show, which follows midwife and nurse Mel Monroe as she moves to a small Californian town (of which the title of the show is named after) for a fresh start. Little does she know that even in the quietest of places, the unexpected awaits.

What will happen in season 4 of Virgin River?
Season 3 ended on a shock cliffhanger with Hope suffering a traumatic brain injury, so we suspect the fourth season will delve reveal her fate.
As for Mel and her love interest, Jack—the pair ended the third season with their own twist. As Jack goes down on one knee to propose to Mel, she tells him she’s pregnant, but she’s not sure if she’s the father. Looks like there’ll be some paternity revelations to come in the fourth season…
