After the buzz and intrigue over the release Liane Moriarty’s Nine Perfect Strangers, it’s clear that fans of the best-selling author—and her previous hit, Big Little Lies—flocked to their small screens to absorb her next creation.

For those unfamiliar with the new series, the show is based of Moriarty’s best-selling novel of the same name and follows nine “stressed city-dwellers” who are attempting to “get on a path to a better way of living,” by headed to a 10-day retreat located at a “boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation”. Run by Nicole Kidman—and her Russian accent in tow—the group must learn to better themselves while suspicious activity is at play.
