How to enjoy your road trip with young kids

Lisa Green and her family explored the stunning Byron Bay Hinterland in the Hyundai SANTA FE Hybrid. She reveals her tips for a successful escape when you’re holidaying as a family.

1. Travel in style

“Pick a car you all enjoy travelling to make the journey part of your holiday too.

“The spaciousness of the SANTA FE Hybrid is so great, there’s so much room! And lots of little details on the car we drove, inbuilt window shades, cup holders within arm’s reach in the kids’ doors, the sunroof for the kiddos to look out of, the expansive, multimedia touchscreen and wireless phone chargers! I really could go on and on, it’s such a great family car perfect for adventures,” says Lisa.

The SANTA FE Hybrid redefines the family car experience through a robust yet refined design, expanded interior space and empowering technology.

The SANTA FE Hybrid has Hyundai’s latest generation of convenience and safety technologies, including a Panoramic Curved Display (dual 12.3″ wide displays), and Hyundai Bluelink connected car service-which make all the difference when you’re on the road with the family in tow.

With a 1.6 litre turbo-charged hybrid engine, the SANTA FE Hybrid can also take you further with fewer stops, delivering an economical combined fuel efficiency of 5.6L/100km.

2. Bring the entertainment

“Spotify has these great Disney audio books the whole family can listen to, also lots and lots of snacks! We also love a game of eye spy in our car,” Lisa shares.

3. Stay in unique accommodation

“After we’ve chosen where we want to go, we’ll firstly find some unique accommodation. Then we’ll go down a rabbit hole on Instagram or TikTok to find all of the must-dos and restaurants in that area. We’ll book a couple of things and leave the rest free to go with the flow and allow time for downtime and for the kids to play,” says Lisa.
