If Aunt Flo were a house guest it would be the stuff of nightmares: she often arrives unexpectedly, almost always overstays her welcome and more often than not leaves a mess in her wake. But what if we told you there was a sure-fire way to shorten her visit?
No, it’s not magic, and nope it doesn’t require birth control.
All you have to do is get your rocks off.
According to Dee Fenner, director of gynecology at the University of Michigan, an orgasm could be the key to making your period end faster.
The idea is that the contractions that occur during the big O cause the uterine lining to shed quicker than the norm and get the red river moving.
“Although no studies have been done on this, it’s likely that menstrual blood in the uterus is squeezed out during orgasm,” Fenner explained in an interview with Metro.
Climaxing is also a natural pain-reliever and can help keep cramps at bay.
