1. Paris

Paris is the perfect summary of all that we love about Paris. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Champs-Elysee- Paris is always a good idea.

2. The Fashion

But of course, France’s greatest gift to us comes, naturally, in the form of fashion. Chanel, Dior, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent just to name a few. Paris remains the fashion capital of the world, not to mention home of three out of five of the world’s top luxury brands- Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Hermés.

3. The Cuisine

Where would we be without macarons? And champagne! And croissants! We have France to thank for our favourite guilty pleasures.

4. Cannes Film Festival

Every year, all eyes are on Cannes during its annual film festival, not just for the films, but also for the star-studded red carpet and the exquisite gowns the hottest celebs are wearing.

5. Their Talented Actors And Actresses

From Brigitte Bardot to Marion Cotillard, France is renowned for producing the most sophisticated of actors and actresses. Films like Amélie and The Artist are some of the best.

6. The French People Have Taught Us Resilience

In recent years, what we have come to love most about France is its solidarity and resilience. With the horrendous attacks in Paris, first the Charlie Hebdo shooting and then the Paris Bombings in 2015, the French have cemented themselves as strong and resilient as well as united.
