Somehow the Mazda 3 is a car that caters to everyone – singles, couples, and families. New ones anyway. Right before I had my first baby, we went and bought a Mazda 3. Weirdly enough, I know a bunch of other couples who did this too.
This new generation Mazda 3 looks rather swish, sophisticated, modern and way more expensive than it actually is, which is exactly what we want.
It has a very clear, high definition reverse parking camera with parking guidelines which help you easily park the car. Mazda has introduced Apple Carplay and Android Auto, which means you can plug your phone into the USB point in the centre storage bin and instantly connect the main apps on your phone to the multimedia screen. Use maps to navigate or Spotify to listen to music/podcasts. There’s also voice control which allows you to make calls and send texts without touching your phone. Note, the multimedia screen is not a touch screen but easily controlled with the large knob behind the gear stick. Still I do prefer a touch screen.
And it such an easy car to drive with all the usual storage like cupholders and a spot to throw your phone.
