After the rating’s hit, despite the disastrous outcome with Nick Cummins – Network Ten have their eyes set on another good looking Australian personality to hand out the rose for The Bachelor 2019.
And that lucky man is Scott Tweedie.
Sydney Confidential reports that Ten TV star “has been approached by production.”
“When they found out that Scott was single, they were straight to him with the offer to be the next Bachelor,” a source close to Tweedie said.
“They were super excited about the possibility.”
“Scott is already comfortable in front of the camera, he is very different to the recent guys which have been on the show.”
Tweedie, who hosts The Loop with Chris Brown’s rumoured girlfriend Liv Phlyand and starred on Neighbours, is worried about what the show will do to his career.
“Scott would be great, but I doubt he will do it, He doesn’t seem very keen,” the insider said.
“He has worked pretty hard to get where he is and this could impact his future. And he hardly needs help with the ladies, he is fielding more than a couple of offers.”
The TV star is recently single following the end of his five year romance with Georgia Berg.
