Netflix’s New Ted Bundy Docuseries Is How All True Crime Fans Should Celebrate The New Year

Who is America's most notorious serial killer?

True crime fans are certainly not starved for content these days, what with Netflix pumping out hits like Making a Murderer and Evil Genius like they’re going out of fashion, and a plethora of true crime podcasts to choose from, its safe to say stories that focus on the dark and twisted lives of killers have officially caught our attention.

But if you thought true crime was soooo 2018, you my friends, would be wrong.

To kick-start our new year, Netflix has decided to give all us true crime fans a new docuseries on one of America’s most infamous and twisted serial killers, Ted Bundy.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes will be a four-part series featuring never-before-heard audio from an interview conducted with Bundy while awaiting execution on death row in Florida.

Ted Bundy was convicted for the murder of at least 30 women from 1974 to 1978 and was sentenced to death in 1979.

The new docuseries will explore the media frenzy surrounding the case, Bundy’s legions of female admirers while in prison, and his marriage to Carol Ann Boone whom Bundy married in the middle of his murder trial, with Boone even testifying on behalf of the serial killer.

Without a doubt, one of the most interesting – and terrifying – aspects to the case is Ted Bundy’s looks and charm, which he used to carry out the murders and evade detection for so long.
