The name Stefanos Tsitsipas is well known to tennis fans across the world.
At 26-years-of age, heโs stormed into the top ATP lists with a current rank of #11 and a career high of #3.
The professional tennis player is well known for having an edge to his game thatโs said to one day rival that of Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal.
And naturally, with that kind of fame comes intrigue about his life off the court. Specifically, the relationship he shares with his girlfriend and fellow tennis pro, Paula Badosa.
Yes, the Greek athlete and World No. 11 has been in a relationship for the past five years. And unlike other celebrities who keep their romantic life completely under wraps, Tsitsipas isnโt one to hold back about his.
Hereโs everything you need to know about the tennis power coupleโs relationship, from how they met to Badosaโs impressive career to date.
Who Is Stefanos Tsitsipasโ Girlfriend Paula Badosa?

Paula Badosa, 27, was born in New York before moving to back to her familyโs native country of Spain as a child.
The star tennis player boasts an impressive portfolio with big wins and multiple titles under her belt, as well as a career high Singles ranking of World Number Two.
She reached her first ever Grand Slam quarterfinal at Roland Garros in 2021 and won the biggest title of her career thus far in April of 2022 at Indian Wells.
After being plagued by injury and suffering a significant dip in ranking (she dropped out of the top 100), she was named Comeback Player of the Year for 2024 by the Womenโs Tennis Association.
How Did Stefanos Tsitsipas & Paula Badosa Meet?

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa reportedly first started dating in 2020, after playing on the professional circuit for years before their paths crossed properly.
As it turns out, the Australian Open provided a serve of fate in the form of a meet-cute for the sporting couple, who count the Grand Slam grounds as an integral part of their origin story.
They went public with their relationship in April 2023, after fans spotted Badosa (strategically disguised in a baseball cap and sunglasses) in the stands as Tsitsipas played at the French Open.
Shortly after, fans flexed their detective skills, noticing that both players had changed their Spotify profile pictures to never-before-seen selfies of them together.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Have They Ever Played Tennis Together?

Tsitsipas and Badosa arenโt just partners off the court, but are tennis partners on it, too.
The couple affectionally known as โTsitsidosaโ won last yearโs inaugural Mixed Madness event during last yearโs US Open Fan Week.
At the time, Tsitsipas called the experience โone of the coolest date nights I couldโve asked for.โ
โWe were able to produce some good tennis in combination with having fun and getting to share that with that special person.โ
Keen to continue their winning streak, the couple battled it out in the US Open mixed doubles event, but were sadly knocked out by Giuliana Olmos and Santiago Gonzales.
Did Stefanos Tsitsipas & Paula Badosa Break Up?

The couple made the difficult decision to break up in May 2024 just a year after going public.
At the time, Badosa revealed the split came down to a case of right person, wrong time.
โWhen we were great, the relationship was great. Other times, we have our own careers, our own things, and sometimes itโs better to separate ways,โ she said.
But the two didnโt stay apart for long, rekindling their romance less than a month later, once Tsitsipas realising distance really does make the heart grow fonder.
โIt was hard for us being apart and I was going through some hard times too. I would say that I didnโt manage it very well either, because I was feeling the pressure of the tour, of my work. It seemed like a mountain to combine these two, and I made the decision to take a break,โ said Tsitsipas of the difficult time.
โAfter two, three weeks I realised that she is a person who has supported me a lot โฆ I felt how intense the love we have for each other is.โ
He added: โI feel that she is my person and we understand each other; that puts more value in everything I do and I want her by my side as often as possible,โ he gushed.
โSo yes, weโve reconnected and weโre in a good moment.โ
Since then, the couple have been inseparable, with the 2025 Australian Open marking five years since they first met, and hopefully, a few more career milestones for the power players.
