Do you think you know what you listened to most in 2024? If you’re ready to find out just how well you know yourself, streaming giant Spotify has confirmed Spotify Wrapped 2024 (i.e., the biggest date for music and memes) is here.
On December 2, Spotify teased in a post to X, “Any guesses on your Top 5 songs of 2024?” For fans of Wrapped, the annual event was well overdue, and they responded with an avalanche of memes. So, whether you’re ready to find out if you ever moved on from the Eras tour or reckon with just how much you listened to Lana Del Rey during that breakup, prepare yourself and your Instagram stories, the influx has already begun.

When Will Spotify Wrapped 2024 Be Released?
Last year, Spotify Wrapped dropped on November 29th; in 2022, it arrived on November 30th. In 2021, it was released on December 1st, making this the latest Spotify Wrapped in recent history. But gladly, the wait is offcially over, with Spotify Wrapped now live, first dropping at midnight on December 5.
How Do I Find My Spotify Wrapped?
Fortunately, your Spotify Wrapped is pretty hard to miss. Available exclusively on the Spotify mobile app, you’ll find the dedicated ‘Wrapped’ banner on your home screen. Tap in, and you’ll find your story for the year with an interactive production that takes you through your favourite artists, most played songs, and top moments. We recommend turning your Spotify notifications on so the app can give you a nudge when it drops.
How Do I Share My Spotify Wrapped?
We all know the real joy of Spotify Wrapped resides in sharing, whether we’re flexing our taste or coming clean on our most embarrassing musical moments. Once Spotify Wrapped is live, you can go to Your Sotires Box under the Wrapped header. On each shareable stat, a ‘Share this story button’ will allow you to spread the joy on Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, or TikTok.
How Many Minutes Are In The Day?
Once you’ve got your Wrapped stats, you’re probably wanting to quantify and contextualise your figures by asking how many minutes of the day your spent actually listening to music. Well, there’s a whopping 1,440 minutes in the day – we hope that helps.
What Is Spotify Wrapped?
With over 574 million people listening to Spotify last year, it’s the world’s most popular streaming platform across 180 markets, meaning it has a whole lot of data. And Wrapped might be one example of tech giants using our data for good with a moment in the calendar that brings the virtual world together and provides us with musically time-stamped moments we can reflect on forever, whether it’s the music you were blasting in the lead up to your wedding or your playlist from your 2022 summer vacation. Spotify allows you to download your top 100 songs of the year into a separate playlist so you’ll have an album for the virtual history books to keep forever.
Who Are The Most Popular Artists On Spotify?
In 2023, Taylor Swift unseated Bad Bunny, who had held the top artist spot on Spotify for three years. Will this year be different? Not entirely. Taylor is, unsurprisingly, top of the charts once again in 2024 with 26.6 billion streams on the platform. Bad Bunny was also up there, but had dropped to #3 position, being bumped by The Weeknd.
As for the number one most streamed song of the year, well, that also doesn’t come as a surprise, but it’s a Taylor Swift song – Sabrina Carpenter’s earworm hit, ‘Espresso’ led the charts.
