Skodas are built by the same company as VW and Audi, so you know they’re good. But they’re not as prestigious so they don’t come with the same price tag.
Still, you get very similar features and a very smooth drive for what they cost. They’re also very clever cars. They come with umbrellas for the driver, a little bin in the door, a flexible boot cover that actually goes over all your stuff. It’s the little things, isn’t it?
They look pretty great too and feel excellent to drive.
This one had leather seats, a super snazzy multimedia screen layout and it all looks so modern and very 2019. Plug into Apple Carplay or Android Auto and you’re instantly connected to your phone’s main apps via the multimedia screen, so I listened to podcasts and music via Spotify, and navigated with Google Maps (not Apple, yes even if you have an iPhone). You don’t have to work out the tech – it works exactly like your phone does.
This is one of those cars that looks much more expensive than it actually is.
