This Simple Shower Hack Could Help You Sleep Better At Night

Saves for the idea are up 317% on Pinterest

Weโ€™re always on board trying out new hacks around the house, especially when they make a standard shower feel like a trip to the spa. Which is why weโ€™re off to track down sprigs of eucalyptus right now. Because, according to Pinterest, hanging the stuff in your bathroom is the next big thing.

The idea is simple: gather the fresh herbs and tie the stems together, then secure it behind your showerhead and out of the direct stream of water.

Itโ€™s not all about the style cred though, it also boasts a heap of health benefits.

The steam (and heat) releases the essential oils in the herbs, which helps to fight brain fog and stress, acts as a decongestant, boosts the immune system and wakes you up in the morning too. And for the night-time showerers among us, you can swap the eucalyptus for dried lavender (an epic relaxant).

If you donโ€™t have access to the real stuff (and foraging for it isnโ€™t your jam), a few drops of essential oils in a dish will also work a treat.
