Fans of the tennis court are likely already familiar with star player Taylor Fritz. But for those new to the sport, allow us to introduce you to the American-born World No. 12 player.
Fritz, 27, has been making waves in the tennis world in recent years, with several wins and even a major title under his belt.
Counting an Olympics bronze medal on his list of major achievements, the tennis star also became the first US man in 15 years to reach a grand slam final after advancing to US Open final in 2024.
Since then, his star has only continued to rise, with Fritz’s fandom exploding after his appearance in the Netflix documentary Break Point.
But supporting his career moves from behind the scenes is his partner, Morgan Riddle, who has been by Fritz’s side since 2020.

Who Is Morgan Riddle?
Morgan Riddle is a 26-year-old social media star who’s been taking the professional tennis world by storm alongside her partner, Fritz.
Appearing on an episode of the podcast, Hold On to Your Racket, she shared, “I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I’m from the Midwest originally. My dream was always to go to New York.”
According to her LinkedIn profile, she made this dream a reality, graduating from Wagner College in New York City in 2019, with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature.
After graduating, Riddle worked for eight months as a real estate agent at the company Compass, before transitioning to social media influencing full time.
Now, Riddle has leveraged her relationship with Fritz by sharing their travels to her social channels and offering an insight into the world of competitive tennis to those who may be less familiar with the sport.
Riddle’s own fame increased after a viral TikTok video where she said her mission was to make “tennis cool again” garnered over 810K likes and thousands of comments.
She followed this with a series of videos where she showed off her outfits and accessories while on tour supporting Fritz, serving up a refreshing courtside style that continues to make waves in sporting circles and beyond.
“I’ve done quite a few videos where I recreate outfits and those seem to resonate with people, especially with that Bella Hadid [look],” Riddle tells marie claire Australia.
The Makings Of A Power Couple
Her partner Fritz is more than supportive of her endeavour, saying at a press conference at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters tournament that be believes Riddle’s commitment to the cause has garnered a renewed global interest.
“I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it.”
In an interview with CNN in November 2024, Fritz credited his partner for helping the mental edge required to compete in his high-pressure industry.
“I think it’s great to just kind of have someone who is with you, supporting you, helping keep you focused,” Fritz told reporters. “As someone who had nothing to do with tennis before, in Morgan’s case, she’s done an amazing job over the years just kind of understanding.
“She gets it, and she also understands what it takes each week and throughout the year to help me play my best tennis and feel my best. I think that’s a big thing – I just kind of have someone helping me at all times.”
What Is Morgan Riddle Doing Now?
During the 2023 Wimbledon championships, Riddle was commissioned to create a lifestyle and fashion series called ‘Wimbledon Threads’.
The role was a serious step up for Riddle, who at the time shared news of the gig to her social channels, writing: “A year and a half ago, I posted a silly little TikTok of me picking out an outfit for a tennis match.
“Today, I’m mic’ed up and on court as the host for the official @wimbledon lifestyle and fashion series, Wimbledon Threads … Catch me on broadcast + Wimbledon channels over the next 2 weeks.”
Riddle said the opportunity was one she didn’t take lightly, sharing her excitement at partnering with the prestigious tournament with People.
“To be recognised by a tournament of that prestige is just a big win for me and people taking me a little bit more seriously in the tennis world, to be honest, because that’s something that I’ve struggled with,” she said.
“I guess the older, maybe more misogynist side of the tennis fan base is my biggest group of people that I’ve been working to win over a little bit.”
Has Taylor Fritz Been Married Before?
Before Fritz met Riddle, he was married to Raquel Pedraza for three years. The pair were married at age 18, after Fritz proposed beneath the Eiffel tower.
A year later, they welcomed their only son, Jordan. Although Fritz and Pedraza divorced in 2019, Fritz occasionally shares glimpses into their lives as co-parents, via sweet snaps of their son shared to his Instagram page.
