The show may only be half way through, but curios minds have already started digging into which couples from the Married At First Sight 2025 season are still together.
So far, the experts have made some characteristically-confusing matches as well as some seemingly-perfect picks, while the jury’s still out on which of the remaining couples are set to be paired.
Playing cupid, the experts John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla, and Mel Schilling, certainly had their work cut out for them this season, with some of the most controversial would-be bride and grooms thrown into the mix alongside, what appear to be, some pretty genuine participants.
Although those already matched are still very much in the honeymoon phase, the rumour mill is already buzzing with whispers that some might be feeling less confident than others about who they’ve been partnered up with.
As we wade through the sea of red flags and hopeful first impressions, let’s take a deep dive into which of the Married At First Sight 2025 couples are still together, so far.
Are Eliot & Lauren Still Together?
Out of the initial group of brides and grooms, Lauren and Eliot appeared to be the most well-suited to each other.
Though concerned about Eliot’s extremely long list of “non-negotiables” and his hard line traditional views on relationships dynamics, the experts agreed that he, and likeminded bride Lauren, might actually work.
“In some strange way, we’ve got a very compatible match,” said John Aiken.
Despite Lauren’s sister working hard to make the newly-married couple as uncomfortable as possible, the wedding, and pairing, seemed to go well.
That was, until the honeymoon which saw Eliot storming out of their marital suite citing irreconcilable differences of the age variety. “I wanted someone younger then me, preferably someone under 30,” he sulked into the camera, before leaving in a huff.
When asked how his bride felt about her groom’s abrupt departure, Lauren appeared unfazed – and rightfully so. “It’s actually fascinating to watch a grown man throwing a tantrum because he didn’t get exactly what he wanted.”
Just days in Eliot truly packed his bags and left, which seemed to be a shame to just about no one.
Both Eliot and Lauren have since re-joined the experiment – although with different partners – and while Lauren chose to call time on her second round pick, Eliot’s track record isn’t much to go on either at this stage.
Are Carina & Paul Still Together?
Walking down the aisle to a stranger is a daunting task indeed, especially when it’s on national television, but luckily, there was one couple who was spared the possible humiliation.
As Carina made her way down the aisle, her nervous butterflies soon turned to angry bees, as it was revealed that not only had she already dated her would-be groom, but he’d in fact ghosted her.
So things were obviously off to a great start.
Immediate cuts to Carina (rightfully) asking to “get a new partner” were interspersed with gushing commentary from their family members and friends who’d already decided it was a match made in heaven. Little did they know Carina was in the next room tearing Paul to shreds for ditching her after one date.
Tensions were high. But remarkably, Paul managed to claw back a semblance of trust and respect from Carina – and viewers alike – for his immediate ability to accept accountability.
A man taking ownership of his past indiscretions? What kind of reality show sorcery is this?
Keen to win his new bride over, not only did he apologise – and genuinely seem to mean it – but he went one step further and approached Carina’s family to atone for his sins.
For her part, Carina seemed impressed enough to let the wedding go ahead, and by all accounts, the pair are still letting their happily ever after play out away from the cameras.
And, if Carina’s recent interview with Chattr is anything to go by, the couple might be even stronger than they appear on screen.
Speaking with the publication, Carina revealed that she’d been keeping out of the MAFS drama surrounding fellow contestants Sierah and Adrian, because,. well – she’s got more important things to focus on. Like what, you ask?
“To be fair, my phone is going off, and I’m just enjoying life with Paul and all the rest of the cast that are my friends,” she said.
However, the rose coloured glasses were soon shattered after the couple was recently rocked by a serious incident, which is currently being investigated by NSW Police. But despite the setback, Carina and Paul have – as of writing – decided to remain together and work through their issues, choosing to stay on in the experiment for yet another week.
Are Jamie & Dave Still Together?
This season, Jamie and Dave seemed like the first couple to click.
As soon as Dave turned around to catch a glimpse of his bride-to-be, Jamie, spotting her groom’s neck tattoos, let out a comforting “sold!”
From there it was smooth sailing for the couple, whose instant chemistry was undeniable.
“I’m really excited about these two,” Aiken said of the pairing. “At the end of the day, Jamie will bring the spark and Dave will be the rock,” – and so far, so good.
Late last year, an insider reportedly shared some Married At First Sight couples insight when they revealed that, despite many feeling unsure about this season’s pairings, there was a “record-breaking” number of couples still together.
“Everyone thought this season was a lost cause but a surprising amount of couples have really pulled through and made it to the end of the experiment,” the insider told Yahoo.
So could Jamie and Dave be one of Married At First Sight 2025 couples that stay together? We’ll be keeping our eyes on them, that’s for sure.
Are Katie & Tim Still Together?
Katie and Tim. Tim and Katie. Where do we begin?
While anyone could have sworn the “nice guys always finish last” rhetoric being thrown around by Tim was screaming red flag central, others (including the experts) were keen to see if the self-described “big, cuddle teddy bear” looking for a “caring partner” who was, “all about having a genuine connection,” could actually be true to his word.
After all, the Married At First Sight experts had taken Tim at his word and decided to partner him with the “unlucky in love” Katie, who was instantly embraced by the nation.
“Katie is such a catch… I think the whole of Australia is going to fall in love with her, and let’s hope that Tim does too,” Mel Schilling said before the ceremony began.
Despite this, Tim was quick to share his apparent disappointment with producers, declaring his beautiful bride was “totally not what I wanted.”
“I normally go short, petite, blonde or brunette… there’s no attraction, there’s nothing there,” he reiterated, before becoming increasingly standoffish throughout the ceremony.
A heartbroken Katie continued to keep things positive. “My hope is that we just have fun, we can let our guards down and let our expectations go and hopefully a spark can grow,” she said.
But Tim seemed to be having none of it, immediately dropping his “nice guy” mask for all to see and insisting Katie sleep in a separate room on their wedding night.
“To be rejected, that’s my worst nightmare. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong or why this keeps happening,” she sobbed to camera the next day. “I feel really humiliated.”
Ever the optimist, Katie kept her hopes high for a Honeymoon connection – though it wasn’t to be.
As soon as the couple arrived at their destination, Tim – clocking the open-air bath surrounded by glass – shockingly told producers: “I was worried Katie would be having a bath and I’d have to leave,” he said. “Thank god for the blinds, that would’ve been a bit confronting.”
Thankfully, Katie was able to escape the wet rag that was Tim and leave the experiment with her dignity, and the support of the whole country behind her.
We’re still holding out hope that Katie will be offered a do-over with a genuinely great guy next season. Because if anyone deserves it – it’s her.
Are Sierah & Billy Still Together?
Out of all the Married At First Sight 2025 couples that we’re hoping are still together (at this stage in the proceedings), Sierah and Billy are on the top of the list.
First impressions of both Sierah and Billy left many questioning whether the experts had matched the right couple, but almost as soon as the ceremony started, it was clear to see just how comfortable they felt in each other’s presence.
Sierah liked the fact that he was willing to be open and vulnerable in his vows. Billy liked being called her “future bestie” and seemed pretty chuffed with the idea of becoming her first love.
The banter continued throughout the reception where Sierah’s walls seemed to be lowering by the minute – especially when she pointed out that their couple name would be ‘Silly’, which seems fitting.
By all accounts, the couple were feeling positive about the match, especially when they found out about their Honeymoon destination.
Things seemed to be working out well between them, that was, until Sierah began to voice her frustrations with Billy and his failure to live up to her intimacy expectations.
The pair seemed to be on different playing fields, a disconnect that was only made worse by the Sierah and Adrian cheating scandal.
After a week of trying to work through their issues, and Billy owning up to the fact that he shouldn’t have joked about a “wife swap” with Adrian in light of the events, it was time for the pair to either comit, or leave.
Sadly, despite all their initial promise, each decided it was too hard to come back from what they’d gone through, and both opted to leave the experiment for good.
Are Awhina & Adrian Still Together?
Out of all the possible Married At First Sight 2025 couples looking to be partnered up, surely the chances of finding a bride and groom that were both identical twins – that actually work together – would be slim to none? Not, it appears, when it came to this season!
Awhina, an aged care worker from Perth, joined the experiment after leaving behind a 15-year relationship with the father of her six-year-old child.
Excited to see where this next stage of life would take her, she put her hopes in the hands of the experts, who decided that 30-year-old sports bag designer Adrian, a self-proclaimed “ten out of ten”, would be the guy to help her along the way.
While the attraction was definitely there, and there’s merit to a partner who understands the sibling bond that exists between twins, their reception was awkward to say the least.
Before she had time to slip in “hey I know we just met, but I have a 6-year-old,” Adrian’s joke about not being a “one-man package deal” turned the evening on its head.
“I have a six month-old,” he started, before continuing, “Aussie Shepherd.” Not feeling amused in the slightest by Adrian turning to clarify “don’t worry, I don’t have kids,” Awhina spoke to cameras afterwards to share her frustrations.
“I was a little bit taken aback by that comment. I am a mum and it’s a big part of who I am,” she said.
“That kind of made me go… I wasn’t worried you had a kid, mate. Like, if you had a kid— great, great. We’re on.”
Almost as soon as she expressed her hesitations, her step father’s well-intentioned speech forced Awhina to confront the elephant in the room and take Adrian aside.
Adrian said he “didn’t know how he felt about it,” but that he “isn’t going to run away because of it.” How courageous of him.
“My first thought is always ‘Is [Adrian] going to add value to my son’s life?’ So I was nervous to tell him about having a child,” Awhina admitted, before rightly declaring: “He should be nervous about whether or not he’s good enough to ever meet my son.”
As the experiment has progressed, so too has the couple’s rollercoaster relationship – though not exactly for the better.
From cheating scandals with other brides, to Adrian’s dummy spit over not being included in a 30 second promo, these two have had their fair share of tumultuous up and downs to deal with.
But despite leaving, then reuniting, then leaving again, reports as to whether or not Adrian and Awhina are still coupled up, seem to have been confirmed as recently as Valentine’s Day.
Are MAFS Rhi & Jeff Still Together?
Walking down the aisle to discover your former flame standing there definitely wasn’t what either of this bride or groom had in mind. But, it could very well work in Rhi and Jeff’s favour given they clearly have an existing connection.
“We dated last year, and it kind of just fizzled,” Rhi revealed, explaining that they had parted ways amicably after meeting through mutual friends.
“Maybe the Experts know something we don’t,” Jeff mused.
Explaining their history further, Jeff revealed, “She just came out of a long-term relationship, and I just came out of a relationship. We both sort of decided we were better off being single.”
These two went from strength to strength, albeit in their own subtle way, remaining unproblematic and seemingly worry free as the weeks progressed.
After the most recent commitment ceremony where both Rhi and Jeff both chose to continue on with some serious smiles on their faces, it looks like the couple might be on the love track after all.
While their fate as a couple remains to be seen, we have high hopes for the pair after recent real-world sightings seem to confirm their current coupled-up status.
Are MAFS Ashleigh & Jake Still Together?
Adorably quirky couple, Ashleigh and Jake must be protected at all costs. The the 34 and 30-year-old were paired buy the experts for their love of children – no surprises given Jake is a highschool teacher – and desire to start a family.
Before even laying eyes on his new bride, Jake described his dream woman as someone with “great banter and a light-hearted nature” which delightfully turned out to be Ashleigh personified.
“I just want someone who is fun and light-hearted. I want my partner to be my best friend,” he said. And, don’t we all?
While the school teacher almost mistook Ashleigh’s bridesmaid as his new betrothed, the connection between himself and Ashleigh once she did make her way down the aisle was instantaneous.
However, the initial spark soon fizzled, or rather, was snubbed out by Jake’s true personality after he became yet another male victim of the Photo Ranking Challenge. Making some pretty harsh and unnecessary comments about the other wives appearances, Jake’s behaviour hurt Ash, causing her to confide in some of her fellow participants.
After Jake heard that Ash had dared to speak to another person about his own behaviour, he wrote “leave” in the first commitment ceremony, even after Ash opted to give him one more chance.
Although he should be so lucky, he couldn’t take the heat, so swiftly existed the MAFS kitchen, forcing Ash to also end her experiment there and then.
Suffice to say the ex-couple are no longer together.
Are MAFS Tony & Morena Still Together?
Both Morena, 57 and Tony, 53, are looking for a second chance at love and from their initial wedding day the promise of that very thing feels like a possibility.
From their sweet vows to their shared family values, everything seemed to align for the show’s oldest couple. However, reports of a “bizarre” exit from Morena could suggest otherwise.
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, which obtained photos of the 57-year-old leaving the experiment in unusual fashion, the mother-of-two was seen with her bags packed.
“Usually when a couple or cast member leaves the show they have to film a whole exit sequence in the underground car park and leave in private,” the photographer who reportedly covers MAFS often explained to the publication.
“They do this to avoid anyone taking any spoiler pictures of them leaving with their suitcases, as these pictures prove the couples split up – but this was so weird. It’s like she was just kicked off the show, evicted from the building and no one wanted anything to do with her anymore.”
However, there was a renewed sense of optimism for the pair, with each coming to the realisation that they might be better suited for each other than first thought.
But the feeling was fleeting and Tony’s “baby bombshell” – yes, Tony decided he suddenly wanted children – provided the couple’s final blow.
Morena departed the experiment with a “good riddance” and thus, the flame extinguished for a final time.
Are MAFS Jacqui & Ryan Still Together?
It wasn’t exactly a smooth start for Jacqui and Ryan when the bride held pause at the groom’s stubble.
“He hadn’t shaved, which is a big turn-off,” she told producers before taking aim at his choice in vows.
“When I actually think about it, his vows were pre-written. I don’t know whether he was thinking about me or some other girl in his mind. He didn’t pay me many compliments that seemed real in the moment… It felt rehearsed, if I’m being honest.”
Then it was Ryan’s inability to sense that Jacqui wanted his jacket straight away having shivered in the cold multiple times.
“I had to tell Ryan a few times. I’m sorry… But I don’t want to explain to anyone that that’s what they should do. I want them to want it themselves. I can’t make someone want to be a man. You know, either he is a man or he’s not,” she said before bursting into tears.
And Ryan didn’t seem to catch onto her true feelings, making matters worse…
“There’s a synchronicity there,” Ryan told producers.
“I’m feeling happy… She got freezing cold, so I gave her my jacket. She thinks I’m really impressive.”
Luckily, things took a turn at the reception (you know, minus the whole, dropping-her-on-her-head-mid-dance thing).
“The more I get to know him, the more I’m starting to like him,” she said following his touching wedding speech.
However, their (kind of?) chemistry was comparatively short lived, as Ryan failed to understand the number one rule of the partner ranking challenge: always put your wife first.
Jacqui was (understandably) not impressed with Ryan’s inability to see the importance of such a test, and the two began their slow descent towards destruction.
At least that’s what everyone thought, until the couple’s 180 in the recent commitment ceremony, where they both agreed to stay after *checks notes* essentially writing a burn book of each other’s grievances.
Each to their own we suppose, but as Jacqui’s rogue Instagram stories might suggest, we don’t think these two will be moving forward for long.
Are Beth & Teejay Still Together?
Perhaps in the hopes of reining in an increasingly chaotic set of contestants on this year’s MAFS, the experts have decided to throw another couple at the wall to see if this one might have a better chance of sticking.
Enter newlyweds Beth and Teejay, whose mid-season entry has been nothing but smooth sailing since their wedding day.
“She’s beautiful… I definitely got that spark,” Teejay told MAFS producers immediately after their wedding ceremony.
Beth responded equally as smitten, telling producers, “[Teejay’s] very fit, very fit… Can’t wait to kiss him again; a big snog.”
Lancashire-born Beth has never had a boyfriend before but is hoping the judges’ decision to pair her with Queenslander Teejay – who’s ready to settle down and become a dad – will be the move to change that.
So far, there’s been nothing troubling to report, with both Beth and Teejay feeling like a good match that might just go the distance.
Their first couple of commitment ceremonies have been a positive step in the right direction, with the couple obviously sharing a palpable chemistry that pushed them through to the next stage of the experiment.
We’ll be hanging out to see if the intruders can go the distance or not.
Are Eliot & Veronica Still Together?
Shock horror, Eliot is back in the MAFS fold – only with a new bride this time.
Confused? So were we.
Eliot and bride number two, Veronica, appeared to be a good match on paper, and Eliot swore he was a changed man, but almost as quickly as they sat down to dinner at their first dinner party as a couple, the connection hit a roadblock. That roadblock was Eliot himself, who in taking shots at ex-wife Lauren’s recollection of events, drew the ire of his new wife who wasn’t having a bar of his bad behaviour.
It looked as though this could signal the end of the marriage, with Veronica expressing her disappointment and disdain for Eliot after his actions appeared to contradict his own story of what went down.
But in a shocking turn of events, the most recent commitment ceremony saw Eliot – or someone physically similar to him – take accountability for his actions and genuinely apologise to Lauren for his abhorrent behaviour.
While the rest of the room was as shocked as we were, Veronica was equally as impressed and chose to stay on in the experiment, at least for as long as Eliot’s new outlook on life could hold up.
Since then, the two have continued to remain locked in, that was until the most recent ceremony when – to Eliot’s surprise – Veronica revealed she’d been holding back “in order to fit in with Eliot.”
The baffled groom appeared as if the news might cause an Eliot Exit 2.0, but lo and behold, he stayed seated and the two opted to “stay”, albeit with a “no more moderated personality,” caveat from Veronica.
However, the line in the sand didn’t quite prove to be the fresh start the couple needed to make things work, and it led to the two finally deciding to throw in the towel once and for all.
In their post-show interviews, both Eliot and Veronica gave more of an insight into why things went from bad to worse, with Veronica telling producers that she thought Eliot was “just a bit stiff.”
“He didn’t really give me anything… it was like drawing blood from a stone,” she continued.
Eliot, to his credit, really did seem genuinely like he tried to make it work, but as they both admitted, it was their incompatibility that proved too obvious to ignore by the end of the experiment.
Each wrote ‘leave’ with Veronica saying “I don’t hate you, despite what you might think, I really did try, so I’m sorry that you feel that way.”
Are MAFS Couple Lauren & Clint Still Together?
The room went wild as Lauren entered the most recent dinner party with her round-two husband Clint.
After being subjected to Eliot’s disappointing behaviour, we all thought Lauren was out of the experiment for good, but as awful as it was to go through that experience, it seems to have brought her the happiness (so far) she’d been seeking in the first place.
Lauren smugly told the experts that she felt Clint had been an “upgrade” from the get-go and both she and her new husband stated their eagerness to see where things go.
However, their increasing incompatibility became hard to ignore, and after Lauren caught her groom in the “unforgiveable act” of … doing the dishes, all signs were pointing to an end of the road.
Confirming our intuitions, the couple chose to close out their time in the experiment with Lauren writing “Leave-ing the zoo!!” which says it all really.
