Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter have reportedly called it quits, and rumours as to why (as well as many lyrical puns) are already flooding the internet.
The news comes around one year after they began dating with sourced telling People the pair have decided to take a break.
“They are both young and career-focused, so they’ve decided to take a break,” the source says.
Neither Sabrina or Barry have confirmed the split. Of course, the rumour mill has immediately gone into overdrive and if it is to be believed, The Please, Please, Please singer may have foreshadowed the demise of her own relationship.

A blind item titled “The cute boy with the thick accent proved them right” shared via Deuxmoi has caused speculation of cheating rumours following Barry and Sabrina’s split.
The piece reads: “this A-list singer who’s having her breakout year and her foreign actor boyfriend are done for good. On the closing night of her biggest tour date in LA, he was busy getting cozy at San Vincente Bungalows with a blonde, semi-famous, LA based influencer.”
Of course, this is unconfirmed, but the item also goes on to say, said actor was caught “chatting with said influencer behind her back for months”.
Parallels are quickly being drawn with Sabrina’s famous line “I beg you, don’t embarrass me, mo*****ker” the film clip for which, Barry famously appeared in.
Is any of this confirmed? Absolutely not. Will we ever know the truth? Probably not.
