Since the arrival of Netflix’s hit reality show Selling Sunset, many have begun questioning the legitimacy of the realtors selling multi-million dollar properties in Beverly Hills.
One of those questioning the stars of the show was Chrissy Teigen. After the third season was released on Netflix last month, Teigen took to her Twitter saying that neither she nor her real estate agents have ever heard of The Oppenheim Group’s realtors.
“I will say, I look at LA real estate a lot and have never seen any of these people lol either have our agents, who I have obsessively asked,” she tweeted on August 19.
However, Teigen’s tweet prompted one of the Oppenheim Group’s bosses Jason Oppenheim, to politely shut down the rumours with a tweet of his own.
“Chrissy, thanks for watching our show,” he tweeted back to Teigen. “Regarding your agent’s knowledge of members of my team, I respectfully don’t know him either although that doesn’t mean he isn’t successful and didn’t just sell you a stunning home in Weho (seriously, I love your new house).”
And now, it seems like Oppenheim isn’t pleased about Teigen’s comments, sending out another tweet announcing that he is planning to take one of his client’s to see her Beverly Hills home that’s currently on the market.
“@chrissyteigen If you want to see if I’m real, I’ll be showing your house tomorrow morning to one of my clients,” he wrote.
While Teigen is yet to reply to Oppenheim’s tweet, it has prompted fellow Selling Sunset fans to rally around Teigen to make an appearance on the show, with one fan calling the potential crossover, the “ultimate episode”.
And in all honestly, we’d be the first to tune in.
