Sabrina Carpenter has been working late—not only because she’s a singer, but because she’s been working on her next album.
After taking over the charts with her viral single ‘Espresso,’ the pop sensation has announced the impending release of her sixth studio album. Titled Short n’ Sweet, the LP is slated for a late-winter release and will seemingly be preceded by a handful of singles.
Carpenter announced the news via Instagram on June 3. She shared the album cover—a snap of herself with a lipstick mark planted on the back of her shoulder—with fans, paired with a sweet caption.
“I am so excited to announce my brand new album ‘Short n’ Sweet’ coming in August. This project is quite special to me and I hope it’ll be something special to you too,” she wrote. “I also have a surprise coming for you on Thursday night so keep an eye out.”

How Many Albums Does Sabrina Carpenter Have?
The newly-announced project will be Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth full-length album.
Her other LPs include Emails I Can’t Send, Singular Act I and Act II, Eyes Wide Open and EVOLution. She has also released two EPs, Fruitcake and Can’t Blame a Girl For Trying.
We can expect the upcoming record to sound a little different to Carpenter’s previous work.
Reflecting on the song writing process in her Interview Magazine cover story earlier this year, the 25-year-old noted, “I feel a lot freer and more excited about what I’m making now because I’ve realised that genre isn’t necessarily the most important thing.”
She added, “It’s about honesty and authenticity and whatever you gravitate towards. There were a lot of genres in my last album, and I like to think I’ll continue that throughout writing music.”
What Is Sabrina Carpenter’s Upcoming Album Called?
Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth album is called Short n’ Sweet.
The name is seemingly a reference Carpenter herself, who stands at roughly 5 feet tall.
Short n’ Sweet Track List
While Sabrina Carpenter is yet to release the full track list for her next album, we do know the name of two songs.
The first is her chart-topping hit Espresso, which will be on the album and served as its fist single.
Carpenter has also announced that her second single is called Please Please Please, which will premiere on June 6. Based on the teaser video she shared for it, it seems the visual for Please Please Please will involve plenty of sultry outfits, as well as stacks of cash and maybe even the singer behind bars.

Short n’ Sweet will be released on August 23, 2024.

Will Sabrina Carpenter Tour?
Given she’s releasing an album, there has been chatter as to whether Sabrina Carpenter will embark on an accompanying tour.
Earlier this year, while in Australia supporting Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour, the singer actually confirmed that she would be returning Down Under for her own headline shows in 2024. However she is yet to officially announce a tour or confirm dates.
