It’s been confirmed – Prince Harry popped the question to Suits actress star Meghan Markle in their cosy Kensington Palace cottage earlier this month.
As the news broke – and the world went into royal wedding meltdown mode – Patrick J. Adams, Markle’s on-screen boyfriend for the past six years – congratulated the bride-to-be with one hilarious tweet, writing: “She said she was just going out to get some milk…”

He then gave us all the feels in a super sweet follow-up tweet: “Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.”
