Fleabag and Killing Eve creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge absolutely cleaned up at the Emmys over the weekend taking home six awards, including Outstanding comedy series, Lead actress in a comedy, and Writing for a comedy series for Fleabag‘s second season. Now, the writer and actress has a new project in the works: a TV deal with Amazon, reportedly worth around $20 million a year ($29 million AUD).
According to Variety, Waller-Bridge will create and produce new television content for Amazon Studios that will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
“I’m insanely excited to be continuing my relationship with Amazon,” Waller-Bridge said in a statement after the news was announced. “Working with the team on Fleabag was the creative partnership dreams are made of. It really feels like home. I can’t wait to get going!”
Of course, PWB has a few other projects in the works to make note of: she’s currently writing the new James Bond film and she’s working on a new series for HBO named Run.
