Sydney has a hot new bar and it’s ticking all our summer session boxes. Sitting pretty outside the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA), the Patrón Pop Up is a cocktail of tasty tostadas (the ultimate bar food), harbour views, public transport (a girl’s got to get home), and delicious ice-cold drinks – all shaken into boozy intoxicant of palpable atmosphere.
At the centre of it all is Patrón, the top-shelf tequila brand known for quality control. Think 100 percent agave, hand craftsmanship, the purity of unaged Patrón Silver and the smokey depth of Patrón Reposado and Patrón Añejo, which are rested and aged in French, Hungarian and American oak.
Throughout the summer, the pop up will hum to the beat of live DJs, including DJ Jimmy2Sox who will be behind the decks on December 13.
Wanting to keep the good times rolling all summer long, we asked the team for their next-level cocktail recipes.
