Model and television personality Nikki Phillips recently revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Dane Rumble.
However this morning the star reminded us all that you never truly know what people are going through behind closed doors, after revealing she suffered three miscarriages before finally conceiving their son.
Speaking on The Morning Show, Nikki was asked about the moment she found out she was expecting, which led her to reveal her heartbreaking journey.

“We had been there before,” she said. “We had actually had three miscarriages before he came along, so we felt like we were repeating the whole thing, we had this amazing news and your so excited.”
‘But then your like, “is he going to make it? Is it really going to happen?”
Nikki revealed that the couple tried for two years before finally conceiving their baby boy, and admits it’s been an “emotional rollercoaster”
After battling stage three cervical cancer in 2009 after a pap smear revealed cancerous cells, Nikki was fearful of whether she would be able to have children at all.
“So when we found out this time, it was like, here we go again, here goes this journey. But once we got to about 12 weeks and we had the harmony test and we found out the sex of the baby as well, it became a bit surreal and we got to enjoy it.”
The couple, who have been married for three years, announced they were expecting with an adorable photo on Instagram.
“It’s no Beyonce post… but our best adventure yet is on it’s way,’ she wrote.
“Baby Phillips Rumble is due early July and we are beyond excited, slightly terrified but utterly blessed.”
“We can not wait to meet our little miracle. I’ve always dreamed of being a mother, but never knew it could be…”
