The highly-anticipated psychological thriller, about the unravelling of a marriage and the lies it was built on, is just as gripping (if not more binge-able) as Nicole Kidman’s award-winning Big Little Lies.

Returning to the small screen, the latest trailer for Kidman’s most recent psychological thriller The Undoing has dropped and it’s everything we could have hoped for.

And while Kidman’s return to the silver screen is exciting enough, the marie claire Australia November cover star has also admitted that she is the voice behind the ominous rendition of “Dream A Little Dream Of Me” in the show’s opening credits.

In our cover story, Kidman revealed how director Susannah Bier convinced her to lend her vocals, saying: “Susannah called me up and said I want you to sing it, which I’d never been asked to do before. That was fun.”

In a video for HBO’s YouTube channel, Kidman elaborated on the story, saying Bier told her she “had to do it”. And while she was hesitant at first, her husband Keith Urban convinced her otherwise.

Kidman also told the BBC Radio 2 show: “We were in lockdown; we were in Tennessee in Nashville and the director [Susanne Bier] sent me a text going, ‘Would you sing the title track, “Dream a Little Dream,” for the series?’, I was like, ‘What? No, I so don’t want to do that, my voice is not good,’ which is always my reaction, and she said, ‘No, no, I think you can sing it.’”
