Yesterday, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban celebrated 12 years of marriage. The actress took to Instagram to share a sweet video of her Manly wedding to Urban, writing: “Remembering 12 years ago today at a church in Manly, Australia. Still feels like it was yesterday. I’m a lucky woman ❤️ Happy Anniversary Baby.”
In celebration of their anniversary, Kidman revealed the secret to her happy marriage, saying they never do something almost every other couple does: text.
“We’ve never texted,” Kidman tells Parade, before going on to explain: “We talk all the time and we FaceTime but we just don’t text because I feel like texting can be misrepresentative at times.”
“I’ve had the thing where I re-read texts and I’m like, ‘What does that mean?’ and then read it to somebody and go, ‘Can you interpret that?’,” she explains.
“I don’t want that between my lover and I. We just do voice to voice, or skin to skin, as we always say.”
