So that’s not a no! There’s still hope then… but in the meantime we have all of season two to look forward to!
Nicole also spoke with Variety about starring alongside Hollywood great Meryl Streep, who joins the cast in season two as Celeste’s mother in law, and admits she was “terrified”.
“You’re acting opposite the great one,” she said despite being an Oscar winner herself. “I get nervous anyway — but to be opposite her and not want her to think, ‘Who is this amateur?’ And also, we want to deliver a series for her that she’s great in. Reese and I were like, ‘We want this for her and for the other women.’ They have much stronger roles in the second one.”
