While nothing can beat Christmas classics such as Love Actually and The Holiday, every year Netflix has a good go at it by releasing a bunch of Christmas-themed rom-coms, and this year’s contender, Let It Snow, might just be the best yet.
The movie is based on the best-selling three-part novel by Lauren Myracle, Maureen Johnson and John Green, who wrote The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska, and in it are a bunch of faces you’ll recognise, such as Kiernan Shipka (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Mad Men), Isabela Moner (Transformers) and Odeya Rush (Lady Bird).

The film is focused on a bunch of teenagers, all of whom have their own struggles with love, who are brought together when a snowstorm hits their town. Netflix describes the plot as “friendships and love lives unexpectedly colliding.”
The first trailer has just dropped and, no joke, we are getting a mixture of Love Actually – there are lots of different storylines – and The Holiday with the cosy snow elements and the longtime friends don’t know whether they like each other romantically or not.
Netflix, you might’ve just done it.
Let It Snow is released on Netflix on November 8th.
