The famous Volkfest in Munich comes in 10th on the list with 2.2 million tags.
9. Notre Dame, Paris
Coming in 9th is the famous Parisian Notre Dame cathedral.
8. Times Square, New York
“I want to wake up in a city that never sleeeeeeps”, this one definitely speaks for itself. New York’s famous Times Square comes in 8th with just under 2.5 million tags.
7. Big Ben Clock, London
London’s famous Big Ben comes in at number 7, with 2.5 million tags.
6. Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
Earning the U.S. it’s 4th spot on this list is the infamous Las Vegas Strip, with almost 4 million tags.
5. Berlin Wall, Germany
The Berlin Wall, known both for its historical significance and photogenic graffiti art on the east side gallery, takes out the 5th spot on this list with 4.5 million tags.
4. South Beach, Florida
…and the Instagrams don’t stop there for Florida, the notorious South Beach aka ‘SoBe’ is 4th on the most Instagrammed list – with almost 5 million tags.
3. Walt Disney World, Florida
In keeping with the Disney theme, Florida’s Disney World comes in third with 5.5 million tags.
2. Eiffel Tower, Paris
The city of love is especially picturesque, but its Paris’ famous Tower de Eiffel that is snapped the most for Instagram, with over 7 million tags (and counting).
1. Disneyland, California
With over 14 million tags, the ‘happiest place on earth’ tops the list of the most Instagrammed destinations in the world. Go figure!
