From how we communicate to how brands and creators provide content and transparency in the age of social media, all comes down to the abilities of our handheld device. Samsung, the world’s leading innovator in mobile technology (and beyond), knows exactly that – providing revolutions in the fields of photography, AI and connectivity.

Below, we break down the key features of the new S20 range.

Changing How We Capture

It’s not surprising that today when it comes to handpicking a mobile device, camera capabilities sit front and centre. Now more than ever we capture our lives and tell our stories through our smartphones – and the Galaxy S20 range is unrivalled for doing just that. An entirely new camera system is introduced through the Galaxy S20, powered by AI and with the biggest image sensor yet. The S20 and S20+ boasts a 64MP camera, while the S20 Ultra has a 108MP camera. The Galaxy S20 range also offers its users increased camera resolution, providing more detailed shots and the ability to edit, crop and zoom with the use of new features – Space Zoom, Hybrid Optix Zoom and Super-Resolution Zoom. These devices also introduce 8K video allowing you to capture high-res stills.

One of the most captivating new features is Single Take, which provides users with multiple images and video options through a single take. Thanks to its AI camera technologies, the Galaxy S20 can capture a number of photos and videos, such as Live focus, cropped, Ultra Wide and more that captures your moment the best.

Changing How We Communicate

The Galaxy S20 range is Samsung’s first full lineup of 5G. “As we enter this new decade, 5G will completely change how we communicate and how we experience the world around us,” said Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, via a press release. “As all three Galaxy S20 variants come with 5G connectivity, Samsung is providing a next-generation device for transforming people’s lives.”

Changing How We Present Ourselves

Our mobile phones are no longer just handheld devices for keeping us connected, they are now outward expressions of who we are. Thankfully the Galaxy S20 range is available in three chic new colourways. The S20 and S20+ are available in a Cloud Blue and Cloud Pink, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra is available in a Cosmic Grey and Cosmic Black.
