You might think that the best babysitting job involves an unlimited supply of snacks, a TV with Netflix and Foxtel, and an easily enforced 7:00pm bedtime.
If so, you’d be wrong.
A parent on UK babysitting app Bubble has just posted a dream ad for a babysitter to join their family on an all-expenses-paid Christmas holiday to The Bahamas.
Ah The Bahamas, the pristine Caribbean island, home to the world’s best snorkelling, miles of white sandy beaches and unlimited pinna coladas. Not to forget those cool swimming pigs…
The advert says the two-week job includes a “generous pay package,” as well as an en suite room, flights and free time during the day and some nights.
All you have to do is look after two toddlers at breakfast and bedtime. How hard could that be? (Asks the childless 26-year-old with no experience minding children).
Bubble app founder Ari Last told the BBC the ad was flooded with “hundreds” of expressions of interest, but the position has not yet been filled.
