Justin Timberlake’s new book Hindsight: & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me, reveals many intimate moments throughout the ex-boy band members career, but one of the sweetest stories the singer shared was how he fell in love with his wife of six years, Jessica Biel.
The singer-songwriter writes in his book about their initial spark and shared sense of humour but details how they weren’t exclusive at the beginning because they were both afraid of getting hurt.
Timberlake writes, “When I met Jess, it was undeniable how beautiful she is. I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry. Nobody got it except her,” Timberlake wrote. “She laughed, and I noticed, all of a sudden, and in the way where you wonder if a person’s like you, if they have a very dry, dark sense of humor, too.”
Timberlake wrote on the beginning of their relationship, “We were both still seeing other people, keeping ourselves safe from getting hurt, from really putting ourselves out there,”
Timberlake continued, “It took a bit for both of us to admit to ourselves that we were really, really into each other.”
Although one of the most rock-solid couples in Hollywood started slow, the SexyBack singer had only gushing praise for his wife “She’s a very good writer. She’s a poet. She’s a tremendous actor. She’s funny. Very funny. And she’s one of the most patient people I’ve ever met… She changed me. She changed my life.”
The couple married in Italy in 2012, and have a son, Silas, together.
