Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus fans will be waiting indefinitely to see their favourite couple officially wed.
Despite reconciling after their two-year split and confirming their engagement in early 2016, the happy couple is in no rush to get married reports TMZ.
“They’re both super chill and grounded. They’re perfect for each other,” a source told the publication.
Rumours that the actors had a secret wedding started circulating when they were spotted wearing matching gold bands earlier this year.
“She had been sporting her ring and wanted him to show his love and commitment in the same way,” a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “Their friends refer to their rings as ‘promise rings’ and Liam and Miley are both good with that,”
As for their big day, don’t expect to see wedding photos splashed all over Instagram.

“Miley has come up with all sorts of different wedding plans. She is always creative and thinking of new ideas that will make her experience different,” the source revealed. The singer has hinted that a “ranch” wedding to honour her country roots could be on the cards. Another possibility? A beachside wedding in their favourite holiday spot, Byron Bay.
“The first time they announced their engagement in 2012, they felt such pressure to make it the most spectacular wedding in the world but that was the downfall of their relationship and lead to their break up,” the source says.
“This has been such a long drawn out process that they joke about the idea that when they finally get married people won’t believe it’s real!”
