Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the exciting news that they are engaged, we’ve all been left wondering about the finer details of the wedding. Now that we’ve locked down everything from the stunning venue to the wedding date, it’s time to turn our attention to the dress.
The former Suits actress previously hinted at her desire for a simple gown, noting Caroline Kennedy’s iconic Narciso Rodriguez wedding dress as one of her favourites. Now, one designer approached to submit sketches has spoken out about the dress we may see on Meghan in the near-future.
Israel-based designer Inbal Dror has confirmed to People that she sent a sketch for the bride-to-be to consider, at the request of Kensington Palace.
“We received a request from the royal family to send a sketch,” a spokesperson for the brand told People. “Unfortunately it’s a secret and I can’t give more details about the sketch.”
The designer is known for creating sheer, plunging, and embellished gowns, often complete with figure-hugging mermaid hemlines or high-slit silhouettes. Take a peek at some of their beautiful pieces below…
