Meghan Markle has been spotted sporting an anti-stress patch.
The Duchess of Sussex was running errands in Montecito when she was photographed with the blue-and-white circular device on her left wrist.
The stickered device, made by the brand NuCalm, is supposed to reduce stress hormones and improve sleep quality.
Prince Harry is currently touring Asia for a series of charity events, while the duchess remains in California with the couple’s two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The NuCalm patches, which are also known as ‘biosignal processing discs’, provide “resonance and frequencies” to provide stress relief “without drugs,” according to NuCalm.
With electromagnetic frequencies, the small patches active the parasympathetic nervous symptom and mimic “body’s normal transition to a peaceful, restorative night’s sleep”.
The patches, which are sold in sets of 20 or 100, cost $6 each.
Earlier this year, the duchess made moves to revive her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig.
If the website’s revival does go ahead then it will likely be playing in a space similar Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, which famously covers alternative wellness tools and treatments. For this reason, we’re wondering whether Meghan might even be testing out the wellness device for her own website’s purposes.
