There are a lot of envy-inducing aspects to Meghan Markle’s life: she’s a) in a relationship with Prince Harry; b) a wildly successful actress, thanks largely to her starring role in Suits and c) she’s probably going to marry Prince Harry.

The striking star is, of course, also admired (and loathed in equal measure) for pouring that incredible body of hers into figure-skimming pencil skirts on Suits, no spanx required. This is how she does it.
“Yoga is my thing,” Markle tells Best Health. “My mum is a yoga instructor and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven.”
To this day, Markle practices yoga multiple times a week, no matter which city she finds herself in. “I love an intense vinyasa class – even better if it’s blasting hip-hop and done in a dark room with candlelight,” she tells Women’s Health. She sees yogi Duncan Parviainen for hot yoga classes when filming in Toronto.
As Harper’s Bazaar UK points out, Markle supplements her yoga routine with running when she can, and being vigilant with her diet.
“When I’m filming, I’m conscious of what I eat,” she tells Best Health. “I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends.”
“It’s not a diet; it’s lifestyle eating,” she continues. “The same goes for wine. Of course I’m going to have that glass of wine – it’s delicious and I enjoy it. Do the things you enjoy within reason. Know your body and what works for you.”
When Markle’s lifestyle website, The Tig, was still up and running, the actress also credited swapping coffee for daily green juices for helping her stick to her Rachel Zane weight.
