Whilst it’s not unusual for mums to take countless photos of their bubs, LA photographer Laura Izumikawa has taken it to a whole new level, and made her daughter Joey a bonafide Instagram star in the process.
From Pikachu to Sia to Princess Leia, the crafty mum started with a few pics for loved ones and items she found around the house.
“Joey slept so deeply so I thought it’d be fun adding little props around her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents and friends,” Izumikawa told BuzzFeed. “It’s really hard not to laugh!”
“She usually just smiles and goes right back to sleep, which is kind of crazy,” she added.
“If it was me, I don’t think I could just go back to sleep, especially with a ridiculous wig on. I think those are the moments I try especially hard to stifle my laughter.”
Little Joey Marie might only be four months old but she already has 264,000 followers and counting.
