Married At First Sight contestant Susan Rawlings may not have found love on the show, but now it’s found her in the most unexpected way: she gave birth to baby boy Ashton in March.
The former fly-in, fly-out truck driver has shared her story with Woman’s Day, revealing that she fell pregnant after dating an older man she met online for several months. After they broke up, Susan realised she was pregnant.
“Ashton was unplanned, but I’m very much looking forward to sharing this parenting journey as I’m friends with his father,” the new mum says.
The 39-year-old says she “can’t imagine going back” to her old life now that she has Ashton: “I find myself sitting and waiting for one of his almost-smiles all the time!” she tells Woman’s Day.
Susan was matched with farmer Sean Hollands on Married At First Sight, but the marriage didn’t work out, with Susan telling media that he was a totally different person when the cameras stopped rolling.
