We made it everyone, the final round of Married At First Sight final vows are done—and tonight we see Liam and Georgia, Patrick and Belinda and Jack and Beck make the decision to leave, or take their relationships out into the real world.
At the last dinner party, Liam claimed his friends would not like Georgia (something about her wearing pink?) and dug an even further hole when he went to get the group’s approval, further exclaiming that everyone hates her when they first meet her. Not a good move.
That meant all eyes were on the rocky couple tonight, as viewers waited to watch what would happen with the pair… and after a pep talk from her mum (who is an ICON and could easily take the place of any three experts), it seemed Georgia was prepared to tell her TV husband how she was really feeling.
For once, someone actually called out the gaslighting we’ve seen play out. “At the dinner party, you turned on me, humiliated me and degraded me,” Georgia bravely tells her husband. “You gaslighted me, you manipulated the blame and tried to put your insecurities onto me. I know who I am and what I stand for.”
Yes, queen.
She goes on to say she’s willing to give him another chance, but it would seem Liam isn’t willing to after hearing what she had to say.
“Hearing those vows, you don’t know me,” he tells her, adding, “You don’t know me at all. Let’s just call it quits.”
