The Oscar-nominated director tasked with bringing one of our favourite books to life and following in the footsteps of the beloved 1994 film (starring Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst and Christian Bale) Greta Gerwig, is more than up to the task, after producing one of 2017’s best films, Lady Bird.
