What Is The Plot Of Little Birds?
According to streaming service Stan, Little Birds is considered a “provocative drama series based on Anaïs Nin’s erotic short stories”. The series tells a story of love, set against the exotic backdrop of the Tangier International Zone of the 1950s.
New York heiress Lucy Savage, leaves behind a naive life, parents unsatisfied in their marriage and an expectation that she along with many women should be routinely medicated, to Tangier, Morocco—which is on the brink of independence—where she meets up with her fiancé Hugo.
Soon enough, Lucy is exposed a new world of intimacy full of bold, free and interesting characters, a far cry away from her shielded past.
Aside from its kaleidoscope of visual aesthetics, its mystical style of storytelling is dreamy enough to transport you out of your home and into ’50s-esque Morocco.
