After a whirlwind courtship and engagement, Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have started planning their wedding.
Hailey’s aunty and 50 Shades Darker actress Kim Basinger, opened up about her niece’s upcoming nuptials during an interview with US Weekly.
“[Hailey’s sister] Alaia [Baldwin] and [cousin] Ireland, they’re in the wedding. So believe me, I just — it’s cool! I think it’s sweet. It’s a very sweet thing. Happiness … We’re living in some really dire times right now,” she said.
Bassinger, 64, went on to say that she’s “ very happy” for Hailey, 21. “I think Justin’s a cool guy. I don’t really know him at all, but Ireland does, you know? I think he’s come through a rough road. He’s a really cool kid. I pray for them. I hope they’re cool. I hope they’re happy! It’s wild! I think it’s wild!”
In case you missed it, the on-off couple got engaged in the Bahamas, according to eyewitness sources who saw Justin pop the question in a Bahamas resturant. Biebs reportedly asked everyone in the restaurant to put their phones away and then proceeded to propose in front of the crowd of onlookers on Saturday evening, according to TMZ.
Baldwin, 21, and Bieber rekindled their relationship in May 2018 shortly following Bieber’s split from Selena Gomez. Furthermore, Justin and Selena reportedly called it quits shortly after attending couple’s therapy for trust issues arising from Justin’s contact with Hailey, according to the outlet.
