Youโd be hard pressed to find someone who doesnโt love Jennifer Aniston. From growing up with her on our screens as Rachel in Friends to watching her poise as her marriage to Brad Pitt publically fell apart, sheโs a woman who holds a firm spot in our hearts.
But, over the years, without knowing it, we became so obsessed with Jen being happy that we totally disregarded one tiny detail: she is happy.
Yes, even though her second marriage to Justin Theroux has come to an end (the pair announced their separation in a joint statement earlier this year), and yes โ shock, horror โ even though sheโs childless.
โThe misconceptions are โJen canโt keep a man,โ and โJen refuses to have a baby because sheโs selfish and committed to her career.โ Or that Iโm sad and heartbroken,โ Jen said for her cover interview with InStyle USA.
โFirst, with all due respect, Iโm not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions.โ

โNo one knows whatโs going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They donโt know what Iโve been through medically or emotionally,โ she adds, before speaking about her decision not to have children.
โThere is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then theyโre deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isnโt to procreate. Maybe I have other things Iโm supposed to do?โ
Hear, hear, Jen.
