Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick just forked out $46.5 million on two New York City townhouses which sit side-by-side on a prime street in the West Village.

The Sex and the City star clearly manages her funds better than her on-screen alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw did with the couple taking ownership over the prime real estate from the United Methodist Women, a church-based nonprofit that had owned them since the 1920s.

The two houses, covering 13,900 square feet in total, will reportedly be turned into one mega-mansion.
