Alicent Hightower, close friends with Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, will be played by British actress Olivia Cooke.

Cooke was romantically linked to American actor Christopher Abbott in 2015 for a seemingly fleeting romance, which was rumoured to have ended in the same year. Then, the pair were spotted having dinner together in 2019, sparking speculation that they’d rekindled things, but they broke up for the second (and final time) that same year.

In 2020, she was said to be dating Ben Hardy, after meeting while filming Pixie, but they called it quits that same year. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Olivia and Ben were smitten to begin with but the intensity soon fizzled out. They’re at pivotal points in their acting careers and just couldn’t make it work.”

In 2012, the actor was diagnosed with  mild Asperger syndrome.

“It was a precarious period because everyone’s an expert on this stuff,” he told Esquire in 2018.  All I knew was I had sensitivities to environments and to certain people touching me and being around me. I had problems with eye contact.”

Paddy has been married to Shelley Considine since 2002, but the pair have been dating since they were just 18-years-old.

Speaking to The Telegraph in 2011, he sang his wife’s praises.

“For the last 20 years she has been there for me with no ulterior motives at all. She’s just incredible and I feel so privileged to have met her.”
