These ‘elite’ couples “lean toward very fashion-forward and sophisticated names,” Pamela Redmond Satran, co-founder of Nameberry.com, told The Hollywood Reporter.

“They are attracted to quirky, not-so-easy-to-like names that are more difficult to embrace,” she continued.
Much like the runway, baby name trends come and go. As soon as a name is seen to be too popular (much like a high-end item dripping down through high-street shops), the focus changes.
‘James’ for girls has become popular in Los Angeles, a nod to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ first born daughter, while ‘Ophelia’ has spiked in New York.
