You tell them, queen.

It was a lovely, sunshine-filled Easter Saturday when actress Halle Berry, 56, posted a partially nude photo to her Instagram. Little did she know she’d be clapping back at trolls on Twitter just hours later.

She captioned the image in question, “i do what i wanna do. *kiss emoji* happy Saturday.”

As far as nudes go, it was extremely tasteful, with very opportune arm placement and shadowing, from the balconette she posed at, rendering the image mostly PG.

Berry was sipping on a glass of wine, yet in truth, it was tea that was about to get spilled.

The comments began to fill up with comments from fans, who were in awe of the image. “Who’s the photographer…I’m jelly,” one wrote, while another added, “As you should queen!”

However, there were also less positive comments rolling in from haters online.

One comment stood out from the rest, and Berry decided she wasn’t going to let it happen quietly. The post read, “Imagine being in your 50s, still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids. Aging with dignity is no longer a thing.”

Yes, absolutely brutal. Also, has no one told this person that you can absolutely age with dignity and still celebrate your body?!?

While Berry could have bitten the commenter’s head off, she instead decided to point out the inane nature of their musings.

“Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?” she said, writing a common and arbitrary phrase that had nothing to do with the discussion. Just like the original comment.

Mic drop.

Her fans came to her support in the comments.

“Ms. Berry I see you’re on 10 today…and I APPROVE,” one wrote. Another added, “You won the internet today with that clap back.”

Honestly, we couldn’t agree more.
