Netflix has just announced they’re planning a reboot of the classic movie Devil Wears Prada, but with an unexpected twist.
The new film is going to star American singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld, but it’s not going to be a remake of everyone’s favourite film, but a crossover of The Devil Wears Prada, Hannah Montana and A Star Is Born.
The musical movie is titled Idol and follows a young woman (Steinfeld) as she plays an assistant to a devilish pop singer, only to learn the tricks of the trade from her boss in an attempt to follow in her footsteps
The Pitch Perfect star has got some serious vocal chops and rumour has it she’ll play a hands-on role in the creating of music for the film.
A musical version of our beloved Devil Wears Prada is officially the reboot we never knew we needed.
