If you still haven’t got your fix of medical drama after 14 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy (14! Yes, really!), there’s another series you’ll be sure to devour.
ABC’s digital spinoff series Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team focusses on the interns of Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital as they face their first day as surgeons.
As Entertainment Tonight reports, the six-part series stars Sophia Taylor Ali as Dahlia Qadri, Jake Borelli as Levi Schmitt, Alex Blue Davis as Casey Parker, Jaicy Elliot as Taryn Helm, Rushi Kota as Vik Roy and Jeanine Mason as Sam Bello.
“It’ll be similar and different,” executive producer and showrunner Stacy McKee told E! News. It was a priority for me in thinking about this as a Grey’s Anatomy spinoff that it works hand-in-hand with Grey’s and was similar in both tone and intensity and humor and heart,”
And because two spin-offs are seemingly better than one, ABC will launch the Grey’s Anatomy firefighter series in March.
Meanwhile, Grey’s Anatomy returns on Thursday, Jan. 18 in the US.
