If there’s one thing that sets our hearts, office kitchen small talk and group chats alight with a burning passion like no other, it’s a great, nay, phenomenal, television show.
You know the kind we’re talking about; titillating, twisty or truly tragic television that has us deep in sub reddit theories, screaming at our TV or furiously bingeing an entire season at once.
It’s not a title we hand out lightly, but there are a few TV shows coming in 2025 that we think are deserving and should be marked in everyone’s calendar.

Yellowjackets Season Three
When it comes to stomach-turning, spine-tingling drama you can’t go past Yellowjackets. Following a high-school soccer team who are deserted in the wilderness after surviving a plane crash, it’s equal parts survival epic, psychological horror and coming-of-age drama. For those already following along, we’ve slowly been unravelling what happened to the team as it flashes between 1966 and the present. Now, with season three returning in February there’s no shortage of questions we’re hoping will be answered.

The White Lotus Season 3
It’s finally time to check back into The White Lotus, this time in Thailand. With the first two seasons from creator Mike White setting the standard, expectations are naturally high. From compelling characters to complex themes (some theorise relate to the seven deadly sins) there’s nothing else like it on TV. As season three returns, we’re eagerly waiting to see who dies and who, if anyone, from the past might return.

Running Point
Mindy Kaling is a TV genius, and she’s gifting us a new series in 2025 about a reformed party girl turned business woman (played by the enigmatic Kate Hudson) who unexpectedly takes over her family’s pro basketball team. The new show also stars New Girl’s Max Greenfield, Brenda Song and Justin Theroux. Need we say more?

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season Three
One for the YA-lovers or a guilty pleasure watch, if you will, the return of Jenny Han’s The Summer I Turned Pretty is long-awaited. It’s expected the third season will follow the storyline from the third book, We’ll Always Have Summer, and potentially put an end to the Jeremiah, Belly, Conrad love triangle once and for all.

The Last Of Us Season Two
For those of us who fell in love with Ellie and Joel–played by Pedro Pascal, so really, you can’t blame us–in the first season of the HBO hit, the wait for a second installment has been gruelling. In the season finale, we finally learnt how Ellie became immune to the Cordyceps before Ellie agrees to be operated on in the hope of finding a cure in a procedure that will likely kill her. In the end, Joel can’t bare to say goodbye and rescues Ellie from the fireflies. But where to from here? We’ll find out soon.

Untitled Rachel Sennott Project
We, like most of the internet, are obsessed with Rachel Sennott. So, when we heard the star was given the green light by HBO to write, star in and produce a new comedy pilot we were instantly on board. According to Deadline it’s about how “a codependent friend group reunites, navigating how the time apart, ambition and new relationships have changed them.” We’re hoping for an answer to our Girls withdrawals.

If you’ve tuned into recent seasons of The Kardashian’s you might have seen this news coming: Kim Kardashian is set to star in a Ryan Murphy series about an all-female law firm. With a stacked cast list–Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecey Nash, Glenn Close and Teyana Taylor–we’re expecting the Suits-shaped hole in our hearts to be filled, and then some.
