After the breakout success of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season one, streaming giant Hulu has announced it’s returning with everyone’s favourite #MomTok niche for season two.
Hulu announced the streamer would renewThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives for a 20-episode run in its second season—and we officially have a trailer.
In excellent news for fans of the unscripted series, all of the season one cast members of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are set to return, including Taylor Frankie Paul, Deni Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Whitney Leavitt.
If season one’s rollercoaster series of events—involving soft-swinging, divorce, arrests, abuse allegations, and a cheating cliffhanger—is anything to go by, then boy are we in for a treat come season two.
Is Everyone Returning To The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives Cast For Season 2?
Despite rumours to the contrary, yes, all the season one cast members are returning to The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives for season two.
It was touch-and-go with Whitney Leavitt, who left MomTok and therefore left us in doubt about whether she’d come back tot he show. She’s had some drama with Mayci, and had declared multiple times that she would step back from the group. However, she posted this TikTok confirming her return in season two. “Excited to film season 2 with all of you,” she wrote in a pretend text to the group chat. “I know there’s tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together.”
What Is Happening In Season 2?
So we have Whitney’s return to MomTok, which will address the drama between her and the group, specifically Mayci. In the trailer we see Whitney saying that the other wives are “holding grudges”, and we know Whitney will eventually find out exactly why.
Meanwhile, we know Taylor broke up with her partner, Dakota. The two had seen some “swinging” drama, which the trailer teases with the appearance of a new mystery woman, Miranda, aka “the girl that was swinging with Taylor”. Ooh, we can’t wait for the drama. Watch the trailer below:

The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives has confirmed a season two release date in Australia of Friday, May 16. While the international release date was slated for Thursday, May 15, the time difference could see season two arrive the day later due to the time difference.
“There was a philosophical question raised in season one which was ‘Can #MomTok survive this?’ The answer unequivocally is yes! Spring 2025 get your dirty sodas ready!” said Rob Mills, Executive Vice President, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, Walt Disney Television
