If, like us, you’ve fallen head over heels for the zombie-fighting duo that is Joel and Ellie from The Last Of Us then you’ll be pleased to know the series is officially returning for another season.
It comes as no surprise after the post-apocalyptic drama became HBO’s second most-watched series premiere in more than a decade, falling only behind Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon in viewership.
With everything from a star-studded cast list – most sharing an uncanny resemblance to their video game counterparts – to the bitingly funny banter of our two protagonists, The Last Of Us had us hooked from the get-go.
So, in light of the news that the show has been renewed for a second season, we’ve gathered everything you need to know, including the release date, plot and cast.
Is There A Trailer For Season 2 Of ‘The Last Of Us’?
We finally have our first full-length trailer for season two of the HBO hit and it’s intense, to say the least. In the clip, we get our first look at newcomers Tati Gabrielle and Kaitlyn Dever (albeit briefly) as well as Ellie falling in love (naw) and her learning that Joel lied to her (yikes). Watch the full trailer here.
